Its exactly a Year!!!!

My last post on blogger is exactly a year today, wouldn't that be calling my blog a yearly updated blog,the last post was on my birthday too...July 13th, that means...today is another birthday...WOW!!!!

A couple of months after I wrote the last post, I woke up to some strange and funny feeling, and my suspicion was confirmed bambino was on the way...I'm going to be a mummy and I was stuck with a big round tummy and my life at that point seem to be on a pause...then the writing mojo disappeared.

I could stay on and on reading blogs and updates and burning with comments but the energy to type out the comments never came forth talkless of updating my own blog. I updated my blog all in my head..the mental blogville and even imagined the comments from such posts all in my head...lol!!!

I noticed so many newbies in blogville,that was some breath of fresh air/read...my best read is ESCO---if you are not reading his blog, you are missing like mad!!!! his blog is it..especially if you are Nigerian, and grew up in Nigeria,you will relate well with his "Satire on the Nigerian life"(that's what he calls it). I remember the first time I discovered ESCO, I read all his posts late into the night and even forwarded some of his naija related posts to friends and family to share in his witty writing.

Naijamuminlondon, is also another favorite read of mine...and many times I wondered why she's waited this long to start blogging.

I also know that writefreak had a baby and so is Rita and favoredgirl... congratulations girls! and dollchic is engaged...congrats babe, Solomonsydelle has disappeared from blogville too...is there another bambino on the way????...lol! and Dear Sting...your blog was always the first I opened everyday...and I know I got angry sometimes when you had no new updates...lol...even your short quickie posts were daily tonic for me.

Thanks to everyone that sent my an email to check on how I was doing, LG dearie...u are too much. Mynewhitman, apologies for not honoring your invitation to write for your valentine edition...I saw the mail, but condition no even gree me do a reply...like I said earlier, my life was on a pause till 4weeks ago. Abeg sis, no vex.I will definitely make up for it some other time.

So am I back to blogville now? hmmm..., but I am thinking there might be some change of name or address...still thinking though!!!!!!!

So, its my birthday today, and I got a first 'happy birthday mum' card from my
lil'prince...after buying several 'happy birthday mum' cards for my own mum...now I get someone to return that gesture,isn't that something to look forward to a birthday for as a parent?
